Spring 2026 Van Buren Area Little League Season Information:

As of March 15, 2026, registration for the 2026 Spring VBALL season is now closed. We’re excited to kick off another amazing season of Van Buren Area Little League!

• Practices: Practices will begin in late March or early April, weather permitting.
• Game Schedules: Game schedules will be distributed by coaches during the practice season once finalized.
• Game Frequency: Typically, there is one Saturday game per week during the regular spring season. This may vary slightly depending on the division.

March 19, 2026
VBALL Parents Meeting

• Softball Families: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Baseball Families: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Location: Wayne County Community College - Belleville, MI
• Details: A brief overview of VBALL, rules of Beck Field, and an opportunity to meet the new board members.

April 2, 2026
Umpire Clinic

• Time: 1:00 PM
• Location: Belleville High School
• Details: Training and preparation for all umpires participating in the 2026 season.

April 3, 2026
Free Baseball Clinic

• Time: 1:00 PM
• Location: Belleville High School
• Details: Open to all players for skill-building and practice.

April 9, 2026
Meet the Coach Night

• Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Location: WCCC (Wayne County Community College)
• Details: Meet your child’s coach, ask questions, and get ready for the season!

May 2, 2026
Opening Day

• Line-Up Time: 9:30 AM at McBride
• Parade Start: 10:00 AM to Beck Ball Field 5
• Details: Celebrate the start of the season with our annual Opening Day parade and festivities!

Weather Policy:

(Our current temperature policy, as supported by Little League International)

TEMPERATURE:  Games will be cancelled if the temperature is below 40°F Actual and 37°F Real Feel or above 97°F Actual or 103°F Real Feel.  

If a scheduled event is cancelled, you will be notified by your coach. This information will be listed on our homepage under NEWS. We will also post it on our Facebook page (make sure you have notifications turned on for it!), and also by league email.
